Sense

Sense is the leading national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind. They provide expert advice and information as well as specialist services to deafblind people, their families, carers and the professionals who work with them. They also support people who have sensory impairments with additional disabilities, such as Usher Syndrome.

Skylarks

Formerly called Me too & Co, Skylarks exists to provide “relief of children with additional needs due to physical or learning impairment, emotional or behaviour difficulties or any permanent or temporary illness, in the London Borough of Richmond and surrounding areas, and the provision of information, practical advice and support to their families, carers and siblings”. We aim to help children who are disadvantaged by their health problems which restrict their access to activities, and by communication difficulties which delay their development. These children are often isolated and are unable to attend mainstream nurseries or playgroups due to lack of specialist facilities or lack or understanding by others.
